The above schematic of a source plate is one of 3 source plate designs I developed in Autodesk Inventor for use in various electrospinning projects. Fabrication was performed by the NC State college of science machine shop. This particular design served simultaneously as a source of molten polymer from which fibers were drawn and as a ground electrode for a in-situ plasma reactor.
